REGION 3 REPORT

2010 Duggins Conference

When: May 6-9

Where: Hilton Inn, Downtown Lexington, Kentucky

Region 3 is preparing for its annual George C. Duggins Conference, which will be hosted by the Kentucky State Council and Chapters. The conferences are held to bring everyone in the region together to exchange information and hold informative seminars.

Pre-registration runs through April 25. For VVA members, early registration and dinner is $60, on-site is $70. For AVVA members, early registration and dinner is $50, on-site is $60. For those attending as non-registered members and guests, the closing dinner and entertainment on Saturday, May 8, will run $45.

The Hilton Lexington Downtown has a special room rate for the conference, which must be reserved prior to April 16. Room rates are: Single and double, $99 per night with tax of 13.4% for a total of $112.29 per night. The rate includes a continental breakfast for up to two persons per room. Children under 18 are free. The Hilton has a separate web site for VVA members desiring to book on line:

The room rate is good for three days before and three days after the conference, from May 3-12, for those who may desire to extend their time in Lexington.
