Fouad Khalil Aide, 78, died November 6 from a heart attack. He served as a Military Police Officer for 20 years in the Army. He served three tours of duty in Vietnam, with one year as an Infantry Officer, and was past president and a charter member of Anniston, Alabama, Chapter 502.

Anthony A. Allen, 67, died July 12 from Parkinson’s disease. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Texarkana, Texas, Chapter 278.

Tracy Wayne Allender, 53, died October 23. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1977-78. He was an associate member of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Chapter 750.

Hugh Eden Anderson, 64, died May 24 after battling cancer. He served as an U.S. Army Ranger in Vietnam and was a life member of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Chapter 310.

John D. Arie, 83, died. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was an at-large member of Iowa.

Michael E. Arnold, 61, died September 2 from self-inflicted wounds. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and was president of Cuyahoga Hills, Ohio, Chapter 34.

David Leroy Ayers, 64, died November 25 from renal failure. He served in the U.S. Army with two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was a life member of Ottawa, Kansas, Chapter 912.

Wasil Barabash died October 10. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a life member of Mount Clemens, Michigan, Chapter 154.

Ronald Wayne Barnhill, 62, died August 12 from heart failure. He served in the U.S. Army with a tour of duty in Vietnam from 1967-68. He was a member of Bluefield, West Virginia, Chapter 985.

John H. Barrett, 62, died June 24 from leukemia. He served in the U.S. Army Artillery with the 101st Air Cavalry in Vietnam.  He was a member of Stoneham, Massachusetts, Chapter 837.

William David Baskett, 63, died January 2, 2008. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a life member of Indianapolis, Indiana, Chapter 295.

Cleon W. Begley, 67, died. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a life member of Hazard, Kentucky, Chapter 851.

Donald Lewis Bender, 68, died April 19 from cancer. He was wounded twice in Vietnam and was a life member of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Chapter 301.

Glen Eugene Boatright, 58, died August 6. He joined the U.S. Army in 1968 and was a life member of Lawton, Oklahoma, Chapter 751.

James R. Boenau, 62, died. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a life member of Baldwin Place, New York, Chapter 541.

Hendrik S. Bollerud, 75, died January 26 from Parkinson’s disease. He served in the U.S. Army for 20 years, including a tour of duty in Vietnam where he was awarded the Silver Star. He was a member of San Antonio, Texas, Chapter 366.

Robert Frank Brandmeier, 59, died March 10, 2007, from Agent Orange-related cancer. He served in the U.S. Army from 1964-67. He was a member of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Chapter 324.

Virgle Ray Bright, 61, died September 26 from H1N1 swine flu. He was a life member of Anniston, Alabama, Chapter 502.

Johnny M. Brown, 78, died August 19 from heart disease. He retired from the U.S. Army after 27 years. He was an at-large member of Tennessee.

Norman G. Butler, 61, died January 24, 2008. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a life member of Washington, D.C., Chapter 958.

Linda Mae Byrd, 61, died July 24. She was an associate life member of Lapeer, Michigan, Chapter 267.

James Edward Callahan, 62, died July 29, 2008, as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army from 1965-69 and he served as a combat medic in Vietnam. He was a life member and president of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, Chapter 65.

Steven Craig Cameron, 64, died April 30 from a heart attack. He served in Vietnam with the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of Janesville, Wisconsin, Chapter 236.

Harry J. Campbell, 61, died September 2008. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was a member of Cincinnati Chapter 10.

Herschel Dean Carmichael, 60, died November 25 from heart disease. He served in the U.S. Army from 1968-71, with a tour of duty in Vietnam from 1969-70. He was a life member of San Angelo, Texas, Chapter 457.

Thomas Arthur Clarke, 69, died August 22 from cancer. During his 20-year Army career, he served in Vietnam. He was a life member of Leavenworth, Kansas, Chapter 75.

Eddie T. Coleman, Jr., 82, died September 15, 2006. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a life member of Rego Park, New York, Chapter 32.

Robert E. Constable, 65, died July 21. He served in the U.S. Army and was a permanently hospitalized veteran member of Pleasantville, New York, Chapter 49.

Michael L. Cook, 60, died March 14, 2008, from a massive heart attack. He served in the U.S. Navy for eight years. He was a life member of Hanover, Illinois, Chapter 928.

Leland Glenn Coon, 67, died November 12 from lymphoma caused by exposure to Agent Orange in Vietnam.  He was a life member of Bastrop, Texas, Chapter 915. 

James Leslie Cox, Sr., 63, died July 17 from a heart attack. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a life member of Adams, Wisconsin, Chapter 729. 

Harold Dean Critchlow, 64, died October 31. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He was a life member of Ottumwa, Iowa, Chapter 667. 

Mary L. Crouch, 56, died February 8, 2007. She was an associate life member of Conroe, Texas, Chapter 734. 

James N. Dunn, 60, died December 5, 2008, from Huntington’s corea disease. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, serving as a combat photographer. He was a member of Springfield, Massachusetts, Chapter 866.

Jerry Lee Faddis, 65, died August 2, 2008. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Cincinnati Chapter 10.

Donald Michael Ferguson, 63, died November 22 from cancer. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps in the Vietnam War. He was a member of El Paso, Texas, Chapter 574.

Thomas P. Finnerty, Jr., 66, died November 21 from liver and kidney failure. He was an associate member of Liberty Bell, Philadelphia, Chapter 266. 

Walter S. Freeman, 74, died. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a permanently hospitalized veteran member of Middlebury, Vermont, Chapter 926.

Michael J. Fuller, 61, died. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a life member of Bristol, Vermont, Chapter 926.

John J. Herbold, 85, died October 17. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 30 years including service in World War II, the Korean War, and two tours in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Brookings, Oregon, Chapter 757.

William J. Hilger, Sr., 64, died July 8 from lung cancer. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Chapter 324. 

Martin Wayne Hilleary, 65, died July 14 from cancer. He served in Vietnam with the U.S. Army and he was a member of El Paso, Texas, Chapter 574. 

Darrel Hoff, 77, died. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and an at-large member of Iowa.

Phillip C. Hopson, 87, died. He served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War and in World War II. He was a life member of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, Chapter 65.

William R. Horhay, 61, died September 28 from cancer. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Elizabeth, New Jersey, Chapter 779.

William J. Huff, 66, died August 17. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Grafton, Ohio, Chapter 559.

Milburn Doyle Hurt, 60, died June 27. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a life member of Lapeer, Michigan, Chapter 851.

Gary S. Hutchison, 67, died May 29 from heart failure. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Manchester, Missouri, Chapter 1028.

Herbert O. Jensen died December 25, 2002. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a life member of Sawyer, North Dakota, Chapter 80.

Elmer M. Johnson, 81, died January 12, 2004. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a life member of Mount Vernon, Washington, Chapter 212.

Charles E. Johnston, 67, died. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of McCormick, South Carolina, Chapter 816.

David R. Kabala, 62, died. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Dearborn, Michigan, Chapter 267.

James R. Kelsey II, 62, died March 2. He was in the U.S. Army for three years, including one tour of duty in Vietnam. He was a life member of Elmira, New York, Chapter 803. 

Timothy G. Kettle died. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a life member of Janesville, Wisconsin, Chapter 236.

Richard L. Kimbrough, 61, died. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and an at-large life member of Tennessee.

Ronald Gene Kock, 61, died October 21. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1966-68 in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Rapid City, South Dakota, Chapter 463. 

Jerry M. Kraycs, 68, died. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a life member of Cheboygan, Michigan, Chapter 274.

Robert T. Kumpas, 59, died August 9. He served in Vietnam with the 3rd Marines. He was a member of Dallas, Pennsylvania, Chapter 1035. 

William Alexander Lafollette, 64, died June 9 from pulmonary fibrosis complicated by pneumonia. He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a life member of Lima, Ohio, Chapter 89. 

Richard A. Lorenzino, 78, died November 24. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps, and was an associate member of Racine, Wisconsin, Chapter 767. 

Charles Alvie Love, 61, died June 15 from cancer. He served in the U.S. Army from 1969-70, with a tour of duty in Vietnam with the HHC, 101st Aviation, 101st Airborne Division. He was a member of Kansas City, Kansas, Chapter 317. 

Thomas L.R. Lovell, 77, died. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and an at-large life member of Texas.

John Anthony Maresca, 63, died June 7 of sepsis from an infection following a craniotomy. He served two years in the U.S. Army, including one year in the Vietnam War. He was an at-large life member of California.  

Johnnie B. Mays, 65, died August 1. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a life member of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Chapter 467.

Jose Rodriguez, 61, died October 20. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a life member of El Paso, Texas, Chapter 574. 

Joseph M. Roszko, 63, died. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and an at-large member of Pennsylvania.

Thomas Dwayne Rush, 65, died September 22 from respiratory failure, COPD, and end-stage renal disease. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a life member of Sherman, Texas, Chapter 973.  

Michael Schow, 68, died May 15 from complications of cancer. He served for five years in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a life member of Pocatello, Idaho, Chapter 901. 

Karl F. Schroth, 60, died September 2 from cancer. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and a life member of Oakland, California, Chapter 400. 

Diane Sears, 65, died July 23 from cancer. She was an associate member of Batavia, New York, Chapter 649.  

Bobby E. Davis Shaffer, Jr., 61, died August 23 from cancer. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of Richmond, Indiana, Chapter 777. 

Ardell W. Shaw, 71, died February 19, 2008. He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War followed by four tours in Vietnam. He was a life member of Elmira, New York, Chapter 803. 

John H. Simmons, 63, died July 27 from a heart attack. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1966-70 and was as a corpsman with the 1st Marine Division in Vietnam. He was a life member of Cleveland, Tennessee, Chapter 596.

Billy J. Slusher, 74, died November 24. He served three tours of duty in Vietnam. He was a life member of Lawton, Oklahoma, Chapter 75.

John J. Smith, 63, died October 8. He joined the U.S. Navy serving two tours in Vietnam. He was a charter and life member of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Chapter 310.

Keith Howard Smith, 63, died October 21, 2005, from lung cancer. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a life member of St. Paul, Minnesota, Chapter 320. 

David A. Sours, 60, died October 4 from lung and brain cancer. He received a Purple Heart for his service in Vietnam with 1st Battalion, 9th Marines, 3rd Marine Division from 1966-68. He was a life member of Cumberland, Maryland, Chapter 172.

Robert E. Spawn, Jr., 61, died September 3 from heart disease. He served ten years in the U.S. Army as a sergeant in Korea and Vietnam. He was a member life member Owego, New York, Chapter 480.

Harry Chris Spears, Jr., 67, died June 8. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was an at-large life member of Florida. 

William C. Spencer, 69, died November 24 from cancer. He served in the U.S. Army with two tours of duty in Vietnam, with the 25th Infantry Division and the the Americal Division.  He was a life member and past President of Coldwater, Michigan, Chapter 730. 

Steven L. Spicer, 62, died October 29 from a massive heart attack. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, serving during 1965-69, and a life member of Millsboro, Delaware, Chapter 546.

Mills Edward Stratton, 63, died October 16. He served in the U.S. Army as a medic in Korea and served two tours in Vietnam. He was a member of Durant, Oklahoma, Chapter 986. 

James Middleton Swindells, Jr., 83, died November 17. He retired from the U.S. Army as a Sergeant First Class. He served during WWII, Korea, and in Vietnam. He was a life member of Hampton, Virginia, Chapter 433. 

Merle A. Swindler, 82, died. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a life member of Ninety-Six, Rhode Island, Chapter 816.

Francis J. Tanzosch, 62, died October 24 from cancer. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a life member and current president of Eliza Ville, New York, Chapter 869.

Charles Michael Taylor, 62, died April 15. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Ottawa, Kansas, Chapter 912. 

Raymond Walter Thomas, 59, died December 1, 2007, from cardiac arrhythmia and ischemic heart disease. He was a Vietnam War veteran, having served as a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps with two tours in Vietnam. He was a life member of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, Chapter 210. 

James W. Thomason, Sr., died October 26. He retired from the U.S. Marine Corps as a Captain after 20 years of service. He was a member of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Chapter 654.

Michael Humbird Thompson, 59, died October 27. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Cumberland, Maryland, Chapter 172. 

John T. Trezzi, 60, died March 3, 2008, from cancer and complications associated with his exposure to Agent Orange defoliant during his service in Vietnam. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served three tours of duty in Vietnam. He was awarded the Silver Star. He was a life member of Bennington, Vermont, Chapter 601. 

John M. Upton, 62, died August 7 from a stroke. He was a U.S. Navy Corpsman serving from 1966-70, assigned to the U.S. Marine Corp’s First Reconnaissance Unit in Vietnam. He was an at-large member of Missouri.

Vincent Joseph Vaccaro, Jr., 64, died August 4, 2007, from Agent Orange-related cancer. He served in the U.S. Navy Reserves and then retired after 22 years in the U.S. Army. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam with the First Cavalry/Black Horse Division and the 616th Medical Clearing Company M.A.S.H. Unit. He was a charter and life member of Jamestown, New York, Chapter 865. 

Sharon Joseph Vidrine, 68, died August 7 from heart disease. She served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. She was a member of Ville Platte, Louisiana, Chapter 632.

Gaston Howard Wallace, Jr., 61, died November 18 from Agent Orange-related cancer. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of London, Ohio, Chapter 746.

Neal D. Walters, 83, died July 1. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean and Vietnam Wars, and he retired at the rank of Sergeant First Class. He was a member of Lawton, Oklahoma, Chapter 751.

David P. Weinburgh, 68, died November 7 from Agent Orange-related kidney failure. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Lynn, Massachusetts, Chapter 908.

John R. Weir III, 60, died July 20 from cancer. He served In the U.S. Army with a tour of duty in Vietnam. He retired after 20 years in 1988. He was an at-large life member of Massachusetts.

James Michael Whitten, 66, died June 26 from heart disease. After graduating from law school, he joined the U.S. Air Force. He served as a JAG and reparations officer during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Corpus Christi, Texas, Chapter 910.

Billy J. Wohlfiel, 67, died December 18, 2008. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a life member of Birmingham, Alabama, Chapter 416.

Edward Charles Woodland, 60, died August 9 from cancer. He served in the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam in Air Rescue. He was a life member of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, Chapter 565. 

Donald J. Woods, 70, died July 27 from renal and heart failure. He served in the U.S. Army from December 1957-66. He was an at-large life member of Washington.

David William Zinn, 58, died. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a life member of Fairmont, West Virginia, Chapter 874.
