ASSOCIATES OF VIETNAM VETERANS OF AMERICA ELECT NATIONAL OFFICERS


BUFFALO, N.Y.- Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America (AVVA) announced and installed their newly elected national officers in a ceremony on Friday, August 4, 2000, at the Hyatt Regency in Buffalo, NY.  Vietnam Veterans of America National President George C. Duggins installed Nancy S. Switzer as president during a brief ceremony in the Hyatt’s Grand Ballroom.  In turn, Switzer installed AVVA’s national officers and board of directors:

Switzer   , Rochester, N.Y.; Vice President, Mary Miller, Johnstown, Pa.; Secretary, Fran Davis, Marissa, Ill.; Treasurer, Bill Williams, Billings, Mont.; Board Member, Region 1, Kathi Tauer, Stockholm, Maine; Board Member, Region 2, Margaret Wojciechowicz, Rutherford, N.J.; Board Member, Region 3, Elaine Simmons, Bluefield, W.VA.; Board Member, Region 4, Mary Yeomans, Quincy, Fla.; Board Member, Region 5, Marcia Hicks, Imlay, Mich.; Board Member, Region 6, Jeani Wells, Kansas City, Mo.; Board Member, Region 7, Patsy Varnell, Mannford, Okla.; Board Member, Region 8, Yvonne Hill, Ellensburg, Wash.; Board Member, Region 9, Sonja Holybee, Forestville, Calif.; Non-voting Board Member, Rocky Gothard, Eugene, Ore.
