HATFIELD GROUP TO ADDRESS VIETNAM VETERANS OF AMERICA
ON INVESTIGATION RESULTS FROM AGENT ORANGE SPRAYING IN VIETNAM
BUFFALO, N.Y.- Vice
President and Principal Officer Dr. L. W. “Wayne” Dwernychuk and
Senior Environmental Specialist and Chief Investigator Thomas Boivin
from the Canadian Hatfield Consultants, LTD, will present findings by
the Hatfield Group from research in the Ashau Valley (A Luoi Valley),
Vietnam. The results will
be presented at a seminar being conducted at the Vietnam Veterans of
America 8th Biennial Leadership Conference, Buffalo Hyatt
Regency, Buffalo, N.Y. The
seminar, Agent Orange/Dioxin,
is scheduled for 9-10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 5, 2000, in the
Hyatt’s Grand Ballroom.
Their presentation will focus on results obtained from an assessment
of long-term impacts of Agent Orange spraying and subsequent dioxin
contamination in Central Vietnam.
The event is open to the media.
