Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) will hold its first Board of Directors meeting for the year 2000 at the Wyndham Washington Hotel, 1400 M Street N.W., Washington, D.C., January 20-22. The meeting will focus on health and welfare issues for Vietnam-era veterans and family.

In conjunction with the meeting, VVA will present a $25,000 check to the National World War II Memorial Campaign. Accepting the check on behalf of the fund will be the Secretary of the American Battle Monuments Commission, retired Army Maj. Gen. John P. Herrling. The presentation is scheduled for January 21, 2000, at 11 a.m.
